Living Harvest Hemp Nuts and Oil

If you are looking for a good source of protein, hemp seeds are a great place to find it. Hemp Seeds are an excellent Foundation Food in that they contain all 10 Essential Amino Acids, which are the building blocks of protein, as well as a balanced source of Omega 3 and 6 Essential Fatty Acids, which are utilized by many of the body's systems to maintain proper tissue function. These elements are termed “essential” because the human body does not produce them. Seeds can be pressed for oil, milled into protein powder, roasted, or shelled. We tested and reviewed Living Harvest Hemp Nuts and Oils. The Hemp Nuts were best when sprinkled onto a salad or yogurt. These nuts are very small and soft and integrate well into whatever you’re eating. The Hemp Oil is suggested for steamed vegetables, salads, or use as dipping oil for bread. When tested, we noticed that the oil held a very-powerful nutty flavor. Even though many nuts and oils are used in cooking, it is suggested not to heat the hemp nuts or oils. Once foods containing these ingredients are heated above 104 degrees F, enzymes begin to be destroyed—losing nutritional value and flavor.
